In Alabama, Governor Kay Ivey is going a different direction than her fellow Southern GOP governors.
She has extended the state's mask mandate for another month.
The mandate was scheduled to end today, but Ivey said this is the last time it will be extended and the order will end for good on April 9th.
She said she is following recommendations from medical officials.
