THROUGH 715 PM MDT...
At 645 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Rifle, or 22 miles west of Glenwood Springs, moving northwest at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Rifle, Silt, and Rio Blanco.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 81 and 100.
Colorado 13 between mile markers 1 and 20.
