BOULDER, Colo. — The people serving food to the homeless at the Community Table Kitchen in Boulder understand the struggles the guests are going through. They've been there before, too.
These people are getting a second chance thanks to Boulder Bridge House's Ready to Work program in Boulder. Boulder Bridge's House focuses on creating a culture of opportunity for the homeless and working poor in the city. Specifically, the Ready to Work program is designed to help those who are homeless or who have lost their way transition back into society. One of those ways is working at the Community Table Kitchen.
Denver7 went into the Community Table Kitchen and met people involved in the program.
