Be ready for windy weather out west - and up north.
Denver7 Reporter Daryl Orr is out at Highway 93 and Highway 72, just north of Golden. Orr had to hang onto his hat and a rag tied to his microphone was blowing sideways.
Orr said he recorded wind speeds above 55 mph.
"Just bringing the truck up here was definitely a challenge. We were all over the road," Orr said.
Denver7 Meteorlogist Lisa Hidalgo said wind gusts near 60 mph were reported on Berthoud Pass Wednesday morning.
Up north, Interstate 25 is closed to light, high profile vehicles between Cheyenne and Wheatland due to blowover risk. The Wyoming Department of Transportation reported gusts over 65 mph.
