AURORA, Colo. -- A local man was shot and killed in Aurora early Thursday morning.
Police said multiple people called 911 at 12:45 a.m. reporting shots fired at the Viridians at the Gardens on Havana Apartment Complex. It's in the 1200-block of South Joliet Court, near Havana and Mississippi.
When officers arrived, they said they found 21-year-old Alexander J. Johnson, who had been shot in a car.
The victim was taken to the hospital, but he died.
Police have not released any suspect information but say it's an active homicide case.
