Buy Orange Trees To Decorate For Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner — and with it comes spooky, fun decorations, like cobwebs, jack-o’-lanterns, and the newest decor trend that we’re obsessed with: Halloween trees!

Retailers like Walmart, Target, and Treetopia are now selling artificial orange-colored trees up to 10 feet tall that can be used as Halloween decorations. (Although, if 6-10 feet is too much of a commitment, you can also find shorter 4-foot options, as well.)

Some are pre-lit as well, like this Vickerman fir tree fromWalmart for $430.51. It’s 6.5 feet tall and comes with LED tips.

For anyone new to the concept, a Halloween tree is basically the same as a Christmas tree, but instead of red and gold ornaments and a star on the top, people are opting to put pumpkins, ghosts, and all things Halloween-y on them.

Check out this cheerful Halloween tree from Facebook user Kailo Chic that’s more sweet than spooky. We love the black and white ribbon intertwined with the multi-colored smiling pumpkins. (And not to mention, the decorations include another Halloween decor trend, painted pumpkins.)

This two-tone orange and yellow Halloween tree from the Facebook account of Eastside Pop Up is also incredible. It’s decorated with costume masks and black and white striped artificial pumpkins.

Keep in mind that you don’t need an orange-colored tree to create a cool-looking Halloween tree. A white Christmas tree can easily transform from snow-flocked to scary with the addition of homemade chains, skulls, a candy bucket and creepy characters, like in this Twitter video from @sshadow_oasiss.

You could even just stick with green, as @HorrorShopUK did, but cover it with Halloween-friendly decor and twinkling lights.

Still, if you have room in your budget, there is something incredibly festive about an orange-hued Halloween tree. And, in a hard, pandemic year like 2020, we’ll take all the festivity and decorations we can get.

Will you add a Halloween tree to your decorations this year? For more holiday decorating inspo and a reason to leave up your tree all year long, take a look at these Valentine’s Day-themed trees.
